Funerals have a way of making everything stop.
The noise fades. The questions get louder.
And one question always lingers:
“If God loves me… why didn’t He stop this?”
In John 11, Jesus does something confusing—
He delays.
He waits.
And Lazarus dies.
But what looks like neglect… isn’t what it seems.
This message wrestles with the tension we all feel:
trusting God when life doesn’t make sense, when prayers feel unanswered, and when it seems like He showed up too late.
Because what if the delay isn’t the end of the story?
Jesus steps into grief, anger, and loss—and reveals something deeper:
He’s not just here to help you cope with life…
He came to confront death itself.
📖 Scripture: John 11
✝️ “I am the resurrection and the life.”
If you’ve ever wondered where God is in your pain—this is for you.
