meet our leadership team in tallahassee

We’re grateful for a team of leaders committed to serving others and helping people follow Jesus.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28)

At CrossWay, leadership is about humility, service, and pointing people toward Jesus in everyday life.

How We Lead

We believe leadership is about serving, not being served.

Our team isn’t made up of perfect people—we’re people who are learning to follow Jesus together, just like everyone else.

Each person you see here brings a different story, different gifts, and a shared desire to help others take their next step toward Jesus.

Kris Stowers

Lead Evangelist

I’ve had the privilege of helping lead CrossWay since its beginnings in 2004. Watching God work in and through this church has been an incredible journey.

I had my ministerial training from 1981 through 1985 in Tampa Florida. I was officially ordained in 1998. Watching God work at Shiloh Farm and continue growing with our move to CrossWay in 2012 has been an amazing journey. I currently am a practicing physician at Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic and the Team Physician of Florida State University for over 30 years. I am married to Alison the love of my life since high school. We are blessed with three married children who are all actively following Christ. It is a joy in our lives to spend time with our children and five grandchildren. Please come and join us at CrossWay where you will find genuine people trying to live a life of love as we pursue Christ.

Alison Stowers

Ministry Leader / Accountant

I was baptized into Christ in 1983. I have been married to the love of my life for 42 years and together we have three grown children and 5 grandchildren. I have a BS from the University of South Florida in accounting and have volunteered as the CrossWay accountant since it began in 2004.

I enjoy helping people with their budgets and finances, as well as event planning and teaching classes for women and the children’s ministry. Outside of church, I love anything to do with flowers and my grandchildren (not in that order, unless it’s an overdue naptime). I love studying the Bible and fellowship with fellow believers.

John Kimber

Teaching Minister

I would love to talk with you about Jesus and His church. Faith raises real questions—and you don’t have to figure them out alone.

Since I was young, I have always had a desire to see people come into a personal relationship with Jesus and find their place in the Kingdom of God. I want you to know you are loved by God and loved by me, even though we may have never met. I hope you will give us a chance to meet.

I have been a member of Crossway since 2020. While serving as a teacher and member of my church's youth committee in high school, I realized my passion for church leadership. In 1997, I earned my bachelor's degree in Bible with an emphasis in Youth Ministry from Abilene Christian University. Upon graduation, I moved to Tallahassee to serve as a full-time Youth Minister for 10 years. Here in Tallahassee, my wife and I have made our home and raised two amazing boys. I have served as a deacon and a Bible class teacher, and have preached periodically until 2015. In 2015, I accepted a volunteer position as a teaching/preaching minister at a local congregation. I served there for five years until my family and I moved to Crossway. I earned my Master's in Christian Ministry in May of 2022 and use it to serve God and the local church.

I enjoy teaching, preaching, and serving the congregation in any way I can, as well as gardening, kayaking, and camping.

Jenny Kimber

Involvement Minister

If you and I met for coffee, I wouldn’t wait long to ask you, “How’s your soul?” My passion is helping others connect to God in creative and tangible ways because when we surrender our agendas—to meet Him in this moment—we give the Holy Spirit room to form Christ in us. When we create space in our calendar and in our souls to experience and enjoy the love of God, real change begins to happen.
My name is Jenny Kimber. I am happily married to my husband of 31 years ~ but we willingly share our full, difficult, bumpy, and beautifully redemptive love story with those who need to hear how God works faithfully with fallen people in a fallen world. We have two grown boys who both love the Lord and serve the body with their unique gifts. When asked for my faith-story, I tell people that I am a legacy Christian. I am proof that God delights in (imperfect) generational discipleship.

When we create space for God, we begin to delight in His word, hunger for character transformation, grieve for hurting people, and move from apathy to action. Toward that end, I love writing prayer walks and hosting prayer station events to facilitate interaction between people and God.
I have been serving in the church since elementary school beside my parents and mentors. I have walked alongside and ministered to teens for 26 years, led various ministries (children's, women's, prayer, and hospitality), and directed women’s retreats. My time teaching English at FSU & TCC turned my heart toward college students who have no idea that what they're looking for is Jesus. I am certified in Spiritual Direction through Selah Center for Spiritual Formation under Jackie Halstead and Randy Harris. I am currently blessed to serve CrossWay as a full time Involvement Minister.

Reach out if you have questions about faith, about CrossWay, or if you just want to get coffee!

Heather Bradford

KidsTown Director

I love helping kids know, love, and follow Jesus. For more than 17 years, I’ve served in children’s ministry through curriculum planning, leading volunteers, and partnering with families to create spaces where kids feel seen, valued, and spiritually nurtured.

In my work as a Speech-Language Pathologist, I’ve gained a deep understanding of how children grow, communicate, and learn. That experience helps me connect with children of all abilities in meaningful and encouraging ways.

I love partnering with families, equipping volunteers, and being part of helping the next generation grow in their faith with creativity, compassion, and truth.

Zach & Celia Ludecke

Youth Ministry Leaders

We feel so honored to work with the youth group. The teenage years can be exciting, challenging and full of big questions. Having mentors who showed up, listened, and made a lasting timpact during our crucial development years made us aware of how important a teen group can be.

Our goal is to create a safe space where our teens can grow in their faith, relationships, and walk with Christ. We love teen ministry because it’s authentic. It’s energetic, sometimes messy, always meaningful — and it reminds us weekly why investing in the next generation matters so much.

We look forward to stepping into this new chapter, and seeing these teens grow into the men and women of God they were created to be.

Matt & Jessica Fantini

Youth Ministry Leaders

Jessica and I are incredibly excited to help our teens thrive in the ways of Jesus.

We want every one of them, no matter their background, to experience what it means to be part of a healthy community of believers.

Growing up, neither of us had such a community to call home. Now, we want to provide a safe space where our teens will form strong friendships, navigate difficult topics, ask deep questions, and refresh themselves in good fun.

Gail Williams

TNT Coordinator / Thomasville Ministry

My name is Gail Williams and I have been a Christian for over 45 years. I have been a member of the CrossWay family since 2019.

Prior to coming to CrossWay, I was a member of Cornerstone Church of Christ in Thomasville, Ga, where I served as the church secretary, and a member of the Noah’s Ark Children’s staff. In my retirement, I am presently assisting with the Tried and True (TNT) Ministry for retired and older adults at CrossWay. I also work with the Thomasville Ministry, leading a weekly women’s Bible study in my home.

I have a passion for encouraging people in their walk with the Lord and singing! I am also the proud mom of three grown children and the grandmother of six lovely grandchildren.

Katelyn Stowers

Project Manager

I first found my way to Crossway in 2011, and from the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I had stepped into something special. The warmth, the family‑oriented community, and the unmistakable presence of agape love made this church feel like home.

Today, I serve as the Project Manager, which basically means I get to do a little bit of everything. From overseeing our current building renovations to keeping our spaces running smoothly week to week, I love helping create an environment where people can gather, worship, and grow. I also support our Kids Ministry by managing supplies and helping design rooms that feel fun, welcoming, and purposeful for our youngest members.

It’s a joy to play even a small part in what God is doing here, and I’m grateful every day for this church family that continues to shape and bless my life.
