CrossWay Church Leadership
"For even the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28
CrossWay Church is blessed to have a leadership team that is truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will.
Kris Stowers
Lead Evangelist
I have had the honor of leading Crossway Church from its beginnings in 2004 at Shiloh Farm. I had my ministerial training from 1981 through 1985 in Tampa Florida. I was officially ordained in 1998. Watching God work at Shiloh Farm and continue growing with our move to CrossWay in 2012 has been an amazing journey. I currently am a practicing physician at Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic and the Team Physician of Florida State University for over 30 years. I am married to Alison the love of my life since high school. We are blessed with three married children who are all actively following Christ. It is a joy in our lives to spend time with our children and five grandchildren. Please come and join us at CrossWay where you will find genuine people trying to live a life of love as we pursue Christ.
Alison Stowers
Ministry Leader / Accountant
I was baptized into Christ in 1983. I have been married to the love of my life for 42 years and together we have three grown children and 5 grandchildren. I have a BS from the University of South Florida in accounting and have volunteered as the CrossWay accountant since it began in 2004. I enjoy helping people with their budgets and finances, as well as event planning and teaching classes for women and the children’s ministry. Outside of church, I love anything to do with flowers and my grandchildren (not in that order, unless it’s an overdue naptime). I love studying the Bible and fellowship with fellow believers.
John Kimber
Teaching Minister
I would love to talk with you about Jesus and His church. While "difficult" questions and complex issues of theology make some people uncomfortable, I find that working through them in community helps us grow in our faith. Since I was young, I have always had a desire to see people come into a personal relationship with Jesus and find their place in the Kingdom of God. I want you to know you are loved by God and loved by me, even though we may have never met. I hope you will give us a chance to meet.
I have been a member of Crossway since 2020. While serving as a teacher and member of my church's youth committee in high school, I realized my passion for church leadership. In 1997, I earned my bachelor's degree in Bible with an emphasis in Youth Ministry from Abilene Christian University. Upon graduation, I moved to Tallahassee to serve as a full-time Youth Minister for 10 years. Here in Tallahassee, my wife and I have made our home and raised two amazing boys. I have served as a deacon and a Bible class teacher, and have preached periodically until 2015. In 2015, I accepted a volunteer position as a teaching/preaching minister at a local congregation. I served there for five years until my family and I moved to Crossway. I earned my Master's in Christian Ministry in May of 2022 and use it to serve God and the local church.
I enjoy teaching, preaching, and serving the congregation in any way I can, as well as gardening, kayaking, and camping.
Jenny Kimber
Involvement Minister
If you and I met for coffee, I wouldn’t wait long to ask you, “How’s your soul?” My passion is helping others connect to God in creative and tangible ways because when we surrender our agendas—to meet Him in this moment—we give the Holy Spirit room to form Christ in us. When we create space in our calendar and in our souls to experience and enjoy the love of God, we begin to delight in His word, hunger for character transformation, grieve for hurting people, and move from apathy to action. Toward that end, I love writing prayer walks and hosting prayer station events to facilitate interaction between people and God.
My name is Jenny Kimber. I am happily married to my husband of 31 years ~ but we willingly share our full, difficult, bumpy, and beautifully redemptive love story with those who need to hear how God works faithfully with fallen people in a fallen world. We have two grown boys who both love the Lord and serve the body with their unique gifts. When asked for my faith-story, I tell people that I am a legacy Christian. I am proof that God delights in (imperfect) generational discipleship. I have been serving in the church since elementary school beside my parents and mentors. I have walked alongside and ministered to teens for 26 years, led various ministries (children's, women's, prayer, and hospitality), and directed women’s retreats. My time teaching English at FSU & TCC turned my heart toward college students who have no idea that what they're looking for is Jesus. I am certified in Spiritual Direction through Selah Center for Spiritual Formation under Jackie Halstead and Randy Harris. I am currently blessed to serve CrossWay as a full time Involvement Minister. Reach out if you have questions about faith, who we are, or if you just want to get coffee!
Hannah Belton
KidsTown Director
Hello! My name is Hannah Belton and I am the KidsTown director at CrossWay. My husband Joe and I have been married for almost 15 years and are raising 4 incredible children, 3 sons and 1 daughter. I cherish spending time with them, playing games, taking fun vacations, or just enjoying our family dinners together. I also love to read books of all kinds, but I am particularly fond of historical fiction.
Children have always been a joy throughout my life. I formally taught at a local preschool, and have loved serving as a volunteer in children’s ministry in many ways throughout my life. I have learned that while children have an incredible variety of personalities, they are all naturally full of wonder and curiosity. I love embracing that and helping them learn about who God is and how he loves us. My goal is to make sure that every child that comes to CrossWay will learn about God in a fun, engaging and safe environment, desire to share with others what they learn, and ultimately decide to make Jesus Lord of their life.
Gail Williams
TNT Coordinator / Thomasville Ministry
My name is Gail Williams and I have been a Christian for over 45 years. I have been a member of the CrossWay family since 2019. Prior to coming to CrossWay, I was a member of Cornerstone Church of Christ in Thomasville, Ga, where I served as the church secretary, and a member of the Noah’s Ark Children’s staff. In my retirement, I am presently assisting with the Tried and True (TNT) Ministry for retired and older adults at CrossWay. I also work with the Thomasville Ministry, leading a weekly women’s Bible study in my home.
I have a passion for encouraging people in their walk with the Lord and singing!
I am also the proud mom of three grown children and the grandmother of six lovely grandchildren.
